Welcome to the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce!
The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce located in Oldsmar, Florida is an independent, not-for-profit business organization, dedicated to ensuring the economic vitality and quality of life of our region ... from U.S Highway 19 on the west to the Veteran's Expressway on the east; and from the Courtney Campbell Causeway north to the Pasco County line.
The Chamber is comprised of more than 500 local employers and residents, unified in their desire to meet the needs of our local communities by fostering economic opportunity and a favorable business climate. Our members are involved, committed partners who join the Chamber for a variety of reasons, from networking opportunities to civic leadership.
Our membership includes both the region's largest employers and the area's smallest companies, and our emphasis on helping small business is woven throughout the Chamber's structure. In fact, nearly two-thirds of all members have 10 or fewer employees, and many of the programs and services we offer are geared specifically toward assisting the small business owner.
The Chamber is the collective voice of the business community, setting the pace on issues critical to the health, survival and growth of businesses in the Upper Tampa Bay area. We are the business community's spokesman at City Hall, the County Courthouse and the State Capitol, lobbying on governmental issues that directly affect the local economy, the quality of life in our communities, and the bottom line of our member businesses.
By working together, the Chamber's staff and its volunteer leadership are able to accomplish far more than any one person – or business – could ever hope to achieve on its own. And in doing so, we're building communities that we can all be proud of!
The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber markets our communities on a local, regional, statewide and global basis, in an effort to:
- Attract new investment and business;
- Create new jobs through corporate relocation and the expansion of existing companies;
- Promote the area's assests to prospective employers, investors and residents; and
- Improve the community by encouraging planned economic development, strong civic leadership, better education and increased cultural and recreational opportunities.
In addition, we constantly strive to provide value-added services and products to our membership, including: small business assistance programs; educational seminars; networking opportunities; trade shows; special events; and affordable marketing opportunities.
The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber has strong ties to the Florida and U.S. chambers of commerce, working in tandem with them to deliver a strong, thoughtful and consistent pro-business message to our state and federal legislators.
The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber is dedicated to delivering "Big Chamber Services ... with a Small Chamber Feel." That's easier said than done; the only way we can come close to accomplishing our goal is with the help of our loyal Chamber members.
