Greetings everyone! Can you believe it's August? The months are just flying by. Before we know it, Fall will be upon us and then Christmas! This year has been fantastic so far, filled with so many really great Chamber events every month. August will be no different. This month's featured nonprofit is: Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Foundation Guild North Pinellas Branch. all we do. all for kids.
This group of men and women work hard to assist other area Guilds to provide finances for such things as the State of Art Mobile Intensive Care ambulance. From July 2017 through June 2018 the hospital itself had grown to 259 beds, 57% of which were intensive care beds. Admissions were greater than 6,600 and there were more than 8,500 operations completed within that year. During that same span of time there were 48,100 emergency room visits, let alone the total number of outpatient clinics who saw over 400,000 patients right here in our community. There are over 3,400 employees in total.
