Before 2019 is completely out of the picture, let's celebrate the positive achievements for the work you all have accomplished. I have felt the heartbeat of all the nonprofits and it is healthy even though the giving economy has waned.
Have we made our Resolutions yet? "I'll never go hungry again" Scarlett O'Hara famously pledged. "I shall return" was General Douglas McArthur's vow as he left the Philippines in 1942. "I will Survive" crooned the disco diva Gloria Gaynor. These are for sure on a grander scale than any of us, however, our goals for 2020 are attainable.
