Greetings to one and all. I pray you all are well and are having a banner year so far!
This month's featured nonprofit is: THE TOP OF THE BAY KIWANIS CLUB
Top of the Bay Kiwanis Club is part of a global, not for profit, service organization made up of women and men volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of school kids and those in need.
They accomplish this through holding fundraisers so their Top of the Bay Kiwanis Club Foundation can contribute to helping the less fortunate. In addition, a large part of Kiwanis is in supporting their sponsored youth service leadership programs in the schools. They are as follows:
- K-Kids Clubs in elementary schools
- Builders Clubs in middle schools
- Key Clubs in high schools
- Circle K Clubs on the college level
- Aktion Clubs for those with disabilities
Every Kiwanis Club supports and sponsors one or more of these aforementioned Group Clubs. These programs help provide young folks with life changing self-confidence and leadership skills. Top of the Bay Kiwanis Club takes great pride in knowing what a large role they play in helping to mold future generations.
